I can hardly wrap my head around the fact that next month, my lil kawaii prinsesa is going to be a year and a half old. That really seems like big kid status to me... and sure she earned that title because of with busy month we just have . There are all kinds of learning going on and so many new adventures .
There were ---
a lil snow filled experience, but we weren't able to play with it because it wasn't that huge and it melted so fast lol.. meeting new friends at her class, playmates every tuesday after class, letting her walk by herself (and its really tiring for me lol) and a lot more
Our lil kawaii Anzy just got way too much energy to just sit still and hibernate the winter and now, the spring months away. I guess this past few weeks (or months) were a slow blogging for me, but not because we weren’t up to all kinds of fun but because we were having so much fun. I was just trying to keep up!
Anywhoo, in case you haven't noticed, I just started posting a new label, The Highlights 2010 , here I'm going to share some random happenings of each days of her life --so expect more photos and video clips..
Day 67 of 2010's (monday, mar 8)
It was a busy day -- went out with Okasan (anzu's great granny) in the morning and Anzu's Grandparents with Maru Chan visited us in the late afternoon...
It was Anzu's 17 month Day by the way... so here's another funny video of anzy..
Remember Maru Chan? She's the little cutie and well loved toy poodle of Anzu's Granny Baba who's just a day older than her. I remember the first time we introduced them to each other, it was an instant love for lil Anz. Maru Chan was kinda aloof at that time, hmmm maybe she was shy (or scared). She's not a jealous dog. You rarely hear her barks.. We are so careful to keep a close eye on the two of them when they are together but Maru Chan has never even flinched when Anzu gets too excited and tries to grab her face (ears, eyes, tail, etc.). However, we always let the dog know she's being a good girl and also teach Anzu to be more caress when grabbing her.
The positive reinforcement is always great for dogs -- and for kids as well.
Here's one of the many video clips of them taken last month (february 2010)....
Enjoy watching =)
The fascination and fun we see when they play and interacting is priceless. They're just so funny lol.. another video clip
Enjoy watching....
I love Maruchan eversince and I'm loving her more coz she has been a woderful and amazing dog and a playmate to our lil girl.
If you're following this blog (and Kizuna's) maybe you know by now that March 3rd is celebrated annually as the girl's day in Japan. This event which is called Hinamatsuri is special day where parents wish for their girls' happiness and good health all throughout the year. (read my last year's post, Ohinasama)
Ohinasama dolls are being displayed inside the house, usually in the living room. These dolls are not just an ordinary Japanese Dolls. They're especially made just for this time of the year and must be kept atleast a day after the event.
Day 62 of 2010's (mar 3, wednesday)
This year, we celebrated it in the simplest way so I don't have much to share about the foods, et al. But visit my friend's page HERE to know and see more about how we usually celebrate Hinamatsuri.
I love driving, so as honeyb.. We used to go out of town atleast twice a month when we were still dating.. usually it was always unplanned. We still drive around though but we rarely go out of towns because of our lil girl.. We just drive around and go somewhere..
Sometimes out of blue, we go out and just drive around the city, have take out from different food chains such as mcdo, moss burger, foods from convenience store... well Starbucks drivethru is my/our favorite..
SHowing some photos of our Lil Anzu inside our car.. sitting in a Child Car Seat, which is a must here in Japan...
Lil Anzu's precious car, a birthday gift from her pretty Tita Clang
Latest photo inside the car.. sleepy baby
Speaking of driving, I'm really looking forward to finally get a Japanese License this year. IDL is not acceptable anymore.. They say it's not that easy to get it, the exam is so tricky and there are rules and processes to follow. NO PAIN NO GAIN.
Geesh, I have to start reviewing now (but the problem is, im soooo lazy heck!)
Late post =( As much as I wanted to blog about Anzu's first day in pre-school (last week tuesday, mar 2), I would just like to make this post as simple and short as possible.. Let the photos do the further talking lol.
Day 61 of 2010's ( tuesday, mar 2)
This is Anzu's School Bag and learning supplies, provided by her school
How was our first day in school? It was fine. Although Anzu wasn'T that cooperative grrr... SHe was playful and didn't want to be held.. The one hour class consist of 4 programs, which includes "mom and child interaction" where we sing and dance together.. Anzu wanted to sing and dance beside the teacher instead lol. I'm just glad she wasn't really shy girl after all. 3 of her classmates cried and Anzu was friendly enough to give her toy to the little boy crying beside us..
No matter how I love taking Anzu's photos, especially her special moments and milestones, I know when is the right time to do it... kakahiya naman mamicture sa loob ng classroom so here is a shot taken right after saying goodbye to her dear classmates. Parang ayaw na umuwi lol
Treated ourselves with something sweet at Coldstone... Just a great day to have Ice cream
Coldstone Ice Cream Bar at Lumine Mall, Tachikawa Tokyo
** went to a building of gadgets after... geesh, I saw my dream Camera again lol--
at Bic Camera, Tachikawa Tokyo
Remembe Ryukun? Anzu's cutie cousin..
There she goes again, the Little Miss Independent on our way home...
These are the most essential First Aid items in our Medicine Box, mostly are for our lil princess.
** band aid ** cool patch fever
** Digital Thermometers We use Ear Thermometer when our lil girl is not in the mood. I guess she's uncomfortable with the normal digital thermometer.
Ear Thermometer is quicker and more safe. The only problem to it is that its a little trickier to use than other digital thermometers. If you don't insert it exactly right, you could get an inaccurate result.
** Baby Nasal Aspirator Vacuum Suction (or simply Nose Vacuum) This is with another tube for mother to vacuum out baby's mucus. When the nose is clear, you will feel the free air go in your mouth. The mucus will be collected in the container or just along the other tube. This has been a handy tool for us eversince. Anzu could be so irritating when she has runny or stuffy nose. She had those episodes when she suddenly cries in the middle of the night because of stuffed-up nose and this nose vacuum cleaner helped her breathe smoothly
Well I don't have much First Aid tips to share because I don't have any serious experience yet (thank God). But I suggest to have your child a seperate First Aid Kit or Medicine box. I think it's important so that you may be able to get what you need quickly. You don't want to be "hunting" for the things you need right? Plus the fact that kids are more prone to sickness and accidents.
