The Playground at Hoikuen

It was a busy weekend for us. We took advantage of the fine weather and enjoyed the beauty of the famous Cherry Blossoms (Sakura) last Friday and Saturday. And then on Sunday, Anzu had her first bar experience lol.. I'll post about next time

Anyway, sharing our....

Day 94 of 2010's ( sunday, apr 4)

This is the playground part of Anzu's great Granny's school, or the so-called Japanese public daycare, HOIKUEN.

Energetic children are all over the place during weekdays (including Saturday). On this day (only), it was Azumi's little paradise..

What's Cooking Anz?

Does your kids play pretend? I'm sure they are. Some would pretend to be a dog, cat or a bird. Some would pretend to be having a tea party with their imaginary girl friends lol (I'm looking forward to this lol).

Anzu pretended to be a dog few times. She tried to eat like a dog. She even put her drink on her plate and drank out of it. It was funny and yet I stopped her from doing that... aysus talaga!

Lately, our lil kawaii prinsesa is into cooking. She would take all those bottles (soy sauce, vinegar, etc), and other utensils from the kitchen drawer --oh yeah, I took all the pointed utensils to an unreachable place for Anzu because she gets whatever..

We may have a future chef (but i honestly wish she'd become a Pro-Golfer someday)

Day 86 of 2010's ( saturday, mar 27)

So busy doing her thing lol

with my Tito Chris and Mom....

Watch this short clip of hyper Anzu. She kinda pretended to be a monkey lol...

Moving up ★

mommy moments

Last February, I found a great little learning school (6-10 kids max. Woo hoo!) on a mall while doing our usual "leisure walk" (which is window shopping), where Azumi can attend once a week to learn, play and hang out with other kids her age. I took home a pamphlete and got thrilled with the curriculum so we decided to visit and inquire after a couple of days -- I was actually quite unsure if it was too soon to send my almost 1 and half year old little girl on a pre-school.

Anzu was sold right away lol. On the same day at home, we found her on a corner holding a pen and a paper which she took from the telephone drawer..

I firmly believe that it is on her best interest to get used on being in a group environment away from home thus the course also aims for a smooth transition to Kindergarten. We won't have to worry about dealing with separation anxiety...

And you know what, we just made a very good decision. Our lil girl has become friendlier, jollier, smarter, more cooperative, and communicative since her first day of school.

Hello hello ---

It's pretty much Spring already and yet we still couldn't enjoy the weather because of rainshowers, if not, the clouds keep covering Mr. Sun ..

Looking forward for Mr. Sun to come shine down on us, and Miss Spring Breeze to blow us while walking on a balanced weather. PERFECT!... (i miss wearing sandals...)

We're having so much fun. She can really communicate so well. I could even make "utos" sometimes lol (more time to improve pa with that).

I'M glad she enjoys her class (which is every tuesday). The teacher seems to have become fond of her coz she listens and talks to her after class.. she's just so sweet even to her classmates. I feel so proud

Here watch and enjoy the music vid I created. I was in the mood, so it's a video blog for today

Day 75 of 2010's (tuesday, mar 16)
